Christmas 2013

I was driving my daughter to gymnastics practice this afternoon and we were marveling at the beauty of big fluffy snowflakes falling on an ice coated forest. For a moment I thought we had driven right through the back of the wardrobe.

I remarked how the Frederick Meijer Gardens spends a lot of money to make a few Christmas trees appear as marvelous as this entire woods. Without even breaking a sweat, God paints all the trees in our neighborhood with sparkling, translucent ice. And then he takes out our power.

  1. I hope it is ok if I copy and paste some of your better posts on my facebook page. I would take credit for them but all my fb friends are well aware that I don’t read Barth. Most everyone I read is still alive so unless Joel Beeke is considered a Puritan I don’t read the Puritans either. I need my Puritans dumbed down for me by the likes of Justin Taylor!
